Job Description
As the Engineering Manager for the communication squad you will responsible for:
- Understand the broader vision of the organization and onboard the team to work towards achieving it collaboratively keeping the highest engineering standards.
- Identify and own endtoend problem space (Product features End User Experience Technology and business) provide multiquarter roadmaps to the team embrace constraints and prioritize effectively.
- Understand the key customer base especially the enterprise customer segment to build trust by secure scalable and industry grade features which can fit in the larger ecosystem.
- Foster the teams growth and advancement by engaging in discussions with team members regarding career development ensuring their progression aligns with the longterm vision and broader business requirements.
- Comprehend and highlight the critical importance to the business define and take ownership of the roadmap and project milestones and effectively communicate key information to stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
- 812 years of experience developing complex distributed software applications at large enterprise scale.
- Proficient with one or more programming languages (Javascript NodeJS Java)
- 3 years of experience in people management and building cohesive teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and focus on teamorientation.
- Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and written) with a wide range of people and role versatility.
- Has a point of view and is comfortable with prior experience in collaborating and respectfully challenging other stakeholders.
- Prior experience of building messaging or communication capabilities such as notification service at scale.
