Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of hydraulic and automation components systems and services offering toptier products such as hoses fittings instrumentation lubrication and filtration solutions. With a strong foundation built from the consolidation of six familyowned businesses they have grown into a national powerhouse while maintaining a closeknit teamoriented culture. Known for exceptional service technical expertise and career development opportunities they are seeking an Inside Sales professional to join their Portland branch.

In this critical role you will be the central hub of sales and operations handling order processing quoting and customer communication. You will work closely with distributors OEMs and various internal teamsincluding sales warehouse and logisticsto ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Utilizing the ERP system you will manage pricing special orders and tracking while providing toptier service. This position is an excellent starting point for a longterm career with opportunities for advancement into outside sales or operations management.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare quotes and manage pricing special orders and documentation
  • Communicate with customers suppliers sales representatives and warehouse teams
  • Utilize the ERP system to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment
  • Track shipments and coordinate logistics to meet customer expectations
  • Provide product and technical support as needed
  • Maintain organized records and handle administrative tasks related to sales
  • Collaborate with the team in a fastpaced smallbusinessstyle environment
  • Identify opportunities for growth and advancement within the company

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience or strong aptitude for sales and support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical product details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage ERP systems
  • Strong reasoning skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and differentiate alpha and alphanumeric listings
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and climbing ladders as needed
  • Reliable teamoriented and eager to grow within the company
