We are seeking an Animal Housing Support Technician I for our GEMSBreed Department located in Wilmington MA.
In this role you will be working both indoors and outdoors with our animal housing (isolators).
- This is a temporary opportunity *
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with isolator moves between different locations
Exposed to weather conditions (work outside)
Remove soiled caging and other materials from isolators.
Disassemble the isolator component parts
Wash rinse and dry the isolator box/bag
Operate industrial cage and rack washer
The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds frequently move/push 100 pounds
Performs all jobrelated duties in accordance with company safety procedures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Mechanical experience
Forklift experience
