- Perform strategic and tactical purchasing activities in a group of assigned indirect materials & services with the objective to establish optimum total cost of ownership
- Lead and drive tender or request for proposal
- Conduct thorough analysis and management of contractual agreements to prepare for renegotiations or subsequent negotiations initiate necessary measures and ensure the continuity of supplies.
- Conduct supplier selection establish criteria and prepare decisions for the requesting departments to ensure a defined and documented sourcing process.
- Supplier management to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain
- Align with purchasing process methods & tools and ensure compliance of global and country policies as well as category management
- Collaborate with crosscountry to lead & drive strategy on assigned categories
- Responsible for assigned categories for Singapore and Thailand
Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain or related fields
- MM Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office tools
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in category management of Engineering Services R&D Equipment (jigs and fixtures) External Engineering Test Services
- Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record in cost reduction
- Team player with proven influencing and collaboration skills to work effectively across functions
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of people
- Bilingual in English & Mandarin to liaise with Asia and Europe offices will be an advantage
