You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe House of Commons Office of the Law Clerk and Parliamentary Counsel is currently looking to staff the Senior Administrative Assistant position on a 12month term basis with the possibility of an indeterminate position and to establish a pool of qualified candidates.
In this role you will be a part of a dynamic administrative team within the Office of the Law Clerk and Parliamentary Counsel. You will be responsible for providing general administrative and operational support to the Deputy Law Clerk and Parliamentary Counsel (Legislation Services or Legal Services) and the Manager Jurilinguistic and Legislative Publication Services as well as to Legal and Legislative Counsel. The duties of the position include controlling and managing the flow of information and documentation to the Deputy Law Clerk and Parliamentary Counsel (Legislation Services or Legal Services) and the Manager Jurilinguistic and Legislative Publication Services as well as to Legal and Legislative Counsel; undertaking research and the development and coordination of information and documentation; organizing the calendar/time/agenda of the Deputy Law Clerk and Parliamentary Counsel (Legislation Services or Legal Services) the Manager Jurilinguistic and Legislative Publication Services and Legal Counsel; participating on committees and project groups and gathering and entering data in various information management systems like Sharepoint and inhouse systems.
