What you will accomplish with us
Coordinate the development of plans and specifications with engineers and other professionals;
Design and lay out buildings under the supervision of engineers;
Assist engineers in the design of plans and specifications using CAD/BIM development tools and be able to model them independently;
Be able to supervise and support other technicians;
Monitor the completion of structural work and ensure compliance with plans and specifications (concrete steel wood etc.;
Participate in the startup of new projects;
Provide technical support to engineers responsible for site visits and supervision;
Visit different sites to collect data needed to prepare plans and specifications;
Estimate and calculate quantities of materials required for projects;
Participate in project startup meetings with clients and resources involved;
Coordinate and contribute to projects as required using various BIM software and platforms (BIM 360 Navisworks Dynamo etc..
Qualifications :
College diploma in architecture or civil engineering (DEC DEP or other);
Minimum 7 years experience in the building industry;
Proficiency in Revit software;
ASP card (an asset);
Proficiency in Office suite;
Ability to manage several files simultaneously under tight deadlines;
Essential command of French (written and spoken) English an asset;
A sense of curiosity and creativity towards finding innovative solutions;
An ability to collaborate in a positive and effective manner in a transdisciplinary environment;
A sense of responsibility and communication skills;
Knowledge sharing and transfer skills;
Attention to detail.
