Get to Know the Role
As an Account Management Specialist GrabMart you will be responsible for:
You will establishing and managing strong business relationships with existing and potential top merchants to drive growth for GrabMart.
You will lead all elements of account management including business identification business development strategy partner negotiation daytoday account management and of key initiatives.
You will drive growth in key accounts as measured by deliveries GMV and revenue as well as forming deeper relationships with partners through collaboration in other areas such as GrabPay GrabAds and GrabExpress.
You will own relationships with FMCG clients to drive Ads sale of relevant Grab assets including sales pitch planning marketing calendar (including merchant participation acquisition) and endofcampaign reporting.
You will report to the Manager GrabMart & GrabExpress and working onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will acquire and drive growth in key accounts as measured by deliveries GMV and revenue (including researching competitors and suggesting/coordinating appropriate pricing & promotional activities).
You will manage endtoend deal management (including working with country BD ads GrabGifts transport food pay/financial operations marketing and product to ensure the success of the partnership).
You will experience digging into prospects pain points and validating the issues theyre facing with key partners including but not limited to mitigating escalations that may come through Customer Support.
You will evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses.
You will work across functions to tailor merchantspecific needs (e.g. customized reporting marketing support integrations).
You will drive operational excellence by working with the merchants and operations teams.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
Bachelor (or above) degree in Business/ Management or equivalent.
You will have 3 years of relevant experience (including account management business development partnerships or equivalent).
You will have experience in managing FMCG clients or ecommerce categories.
You will fuse business strategy finance and legal concepts to lead complex multifaceted deals.
Comfortable with managing data and able to perform analysis (e.g. to solve business problems).
