Job Description

Get to Know the Team

You will be part of an exciting team which grows and manages the accounts of Key Merchants for GrabFood Malaysia.

Get to Know the Role

  • You will manage a portfolio of F&B Mid Market Key Accounts with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
  • You will be responsible for the pitching of marketing campaigns and selling of new products/programmes to all merchants to drive growth.
  • You will assist in elements of business identification partnerships account management and strategy.
  • You will be reporting to the Manager of Mid Market Merchants GrabFood Malaysia and working onsite Petaling Jaya.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will manage a portfolio of key chain restaurants with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
  • You will liaise with key merchants for merchantfunded promo programs partnerships new products and new features.
  • You will identify bottlenecks and potential issues related to merchant operations and deliver solutions to these issues.
  • You will drive growth of key accounts by analyzing data and developing initiatives to increase profitability/revenues aligned with country targets.
  • You will execute business improvement projects to create value for both merchants and Grab Malaysia.
  • You will evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • You will work across functions to tailor merchantspecific needs such as customized reporting marketing support and integrations and drive operational excellence by collaborating with merchants and operations teams.

Qualifications :

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You have demonstrated proficiency in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) PowerPoint Power BI and all Google applications.
  • You have a Bachelor (or above) degree in Business/Management or equivalent.
  • You have 3 years of experience in sales business development partnerships or an equivalent role.
  • You have experience responding to prospect communications in both English and Bahasa Malaysia with additional language skills such as Mandarin is a plus.
  • You have demonstrated emotional ability and excellence in dealing with merchant representatives.
  • You have experience communicating product benefits and providing comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs.
  • You have the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external organizations.
