Grabs Identity (IAM) team where youll be at the forefront of crafting a toptier registration authentication and authorization system tailored specifically for the dynamic Southeast Asian markets. Your work will empower both Grab services and external partner scenarios within the Grab ecosystem. The mission To design and deliver robust authentication solutions that ensure secure user identity verification while prioritizing a seamless user experience across mobile web and voice platforms.
Get to Know the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer Mobile (iOS) to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya Malaysia. You will be reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager. As a key member of our mobile development team you will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining highquality iOS applications that millions of users rely on daily.
This role is onsite based in our Petaling Jaya Malaysia office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will collaborate with teams to understand requirements provide technical insights and implement scalable solutions for our iOS applications
- You will write clean efficient and maintainable code using Swift and modern iOS frameworks
- You will design and implement new features while improving existing functionality
- You will conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices
- You will troubleshoot debug and optimize application performance
- You will participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment
- You will ensure the reliability and stability of our iOS applications through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field with 4 years of professional iOS development experience
- You have proficiency in Swift and understanding of iOS SDK
- You have expertise in modern iOS programming paradigms including UIKit RxSwift and Combine
- Indepth knowledge of iOS systems design and internals
- Proficiency in user behavior analysis log collection and analytics tools
- You have eExperience with software architecture patterns caching mechanisms data storage and mobile security best practices
- EYou have experience with version control systems Git
- You gave familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- You have portfolio of published iOS apps in the App Store
