About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance we are seeking an experienced finance and accounting professional to lead our financial reporting team and oversee RWWAs financial accounting requirements in compliance with Australian standards and applicable legislation.

Key accountabilities of the role include:
- Manage monthend quarterly and end of financial year close processes including the preparation and presentation of RWWAs financial statements and key performance indicators
- Produce monthly quarterly and adhoc financial reports
- Ensure internal controls and policies of the company are applied
- Overseeproduction and lodgement of BAS Payroll Tax Betting Tax and FBT returns
- Coordinateinternal and compliance audits and work with external auditors
- Leadand mentor the financial reporting team fostering a highperformance culture
- Providecoaching and guidance on financial matters and decisionmaking
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
Qualifications :
About You
- 5 years experience with financial reporting and financial accounting gained in a big four or similar environment
- CA qualified or international equivalent with experience gained within the Chartered Accounting industry
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting and Finance
- Strong analytic and numerical skills
- Positive and proactive attitude with a solutionorientated and strong delivery focus
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to nonfinancial stakeholders
- Strong systems skills with advanced Excel
- Experience in financial accounting and corporate compliance such as statutory reporting GST and FBT
- Experience in process improvement
