Job Description
What Youll Do:
- Plant & Building Maintenance: Review spare parts redesign machines coordinate maintenance activities ensure mechanical services meet production needs and maintain high site standards.
- Cost Control & CAPEX: Manage engineering capital projects prepare and monitor capex requests and project plans reduce engineering costs secure supplies and find costeffective solutions.
- Research & Development (R&D): Design solutions to improve performance and efficiency introduce new technologies and seek innovations for best practices in manufacturing.
- Council Collaboration & Site Security: Liaise with the Council on environmental consents manage utility contracts oversee security systems and maintain site equipment and vehicles.
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure engineers follow relevant codes proactively assess risks investigate accidents and address nonconformance reports (NCRs) within set timeframes.
Qualifications :
What You Bring to the Table:
- A degree and/or trade qualification(s) in Engineering Trades or a related field.
- Previous experience as an Engineering Manager
- Experience as a member of a site leadership team
- Proven experience in managing teams across production schedules
- A solutionfocused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
- The ability to analyse and process high volumes of data and documentation on a daily basis.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Other related certifications e.g. First Aid
