Position: Chief of Otolaryngology

Job Summary:
As the Chief of Otolaryngology you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the otolaryngology department within our clients healthcare facility. You will oversee a team of otolaryngologists and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of highquality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the otolaryngology department including overseeing the work of otolaryngologists and support staff
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve departmental operations and enhance patient care
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide mentoring and coaching to team members
Participate in the recruitment hiring and onboarding of new otolaryngologists
Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians and other healthcare organizations
Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement
Stay current with advancements in otolaryngology and implement best practices within the department
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in Otolaryngology
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an otolaryngologist
Previous leadership or management experience preferred
Strong communication leadership and problemsolving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards
