McKenzie Health Care Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Recreation Therapist to join the team within a leading seniors care facility.
In this role you:
- Develop and implement personalized therapeutic recreation programs tailored to residents needs.
- Supervise and guide recreational assistants fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Conduct assessments develop treatment plans and monitor progress to maximize resident independence and participation.
- Promote physical cognitive social and emotional wellbeing through engaging activities.
- Collaborate with families interdisciplinary teams and volunteers to create a supportive and enriching environment.
Looking for a Recreation Therapist who:
- Holds a Bachelors degree (or higher) in Recreation Therapy.
- Member of Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Therapist Association
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates a passion for working with seniors and promoting their wellbeing.
