Qualifications
- Masters degree in Higher Education Educational Leadership Law or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in higher education with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Strong understanding of South African higher education policies including CHE and DHET accreditation processes.
- Expertise in academic programme design curriculum development and quality assurance.
- Advanced project management and data analysis skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement academic strategies aligned with institutional and national higher education goals.
- Oversee curriculum design ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry relevance.
- Manage the accreditation process for academic programmes maintaining full regulatory compliance.
- Lead programme evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives integrating feedback and data analytics.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive academic planning and delivery.
- Allocate and optimize resources including staff and facilities to support programme success.
- Drive innovation in teaching learning and assessment methods.
- Monitor compliance with governance policies and risk management protocols.
