What an Analyst Strategy Business Planning and Operations does at Visa:

The successful candidate will leverage quantitative & qualitative analysis to drive the development of market business strategy ensuring flawless execution of the established operating model and will support the delivery of strategic initiatives as trusted advisor to the Country Manager and Head of Strategy Business Planning and Operations.

The role will have a direct report to the Head of Strategy Business Planning & Operations collaborating extensively with the country leadership & market crossfunctional team SMT Strategy Business Planning & Operations Sales Excellence Corporate Strategy and other AP business planning teams.

Projects & Tasks you will be a part of:

• Strategy development and execution:
  • Support the development and refinement of the markets medium to long term strategies as market evolves and opportunities & challenges arise (e.g. evaluating pros and cons of the clusters strategic options size future business opportunities preparing detailed business case etc.)
  • Be part of the most relevant strategic projects in market (e.g. pricing economics cost associated efficiencies segmentation competitive assessment) as trusted strategic advisor of the country manager and head of strategy business planning & operations
  • Support the execution of key market strategic initiatives and support cross functional coordination required to successfully deliver complex projects
  • Research consolidate and analyse Thailand macroeconomic trends regulatory evolutions competitors moves
• Performance & P&L assessment:
  • Work closely with Finance to monitor and track market ongoing performance & 2025 objectives and key results against targets. Investigate the root causes of deviation against the targets
  • Provide critical thinking and problem solving with market & cluster cross functional teams to understand underlying business factors and proactively address any challenges and opportunities to accelerate business objective
  • Support Head of Sales in managing sales pipelines in Microsoft Dynamics weekly/monthly sales report to ensure optimal pipeline management / tracking to target
• Operating Model:
  • Support execution of market operating model to ensure correct delivery and effectiveness by pursuing initiatives & process enhancements
  • Actively participate as working group member to periodic reviews of high priority market initiatives which are sensitive for market P&L and supporting the team to think through the problem solving approach
  • Support client facing teams in developing streamlined account business reviews to ensure key areas of focus are addressed
• Operations:
  • Support Head of Strategy Business Planning & Operations in managing entire BAU country operations such as cost management (OPEX/ CAPEX) planning of key internal & external events Visa internal quarterly and annual analysis & budget planning.
  • Support working team to create and generate the sales and operations report/dashboard and initiative impact tracking with the right understanding of business needs and data sources to bring the insight for the working team to take action proactively

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience preferably with payments and/or consulting background. Good understanding of Payments will be a plus
• Handson attitude with strong appetite for data analysis leveraging multiple data sources and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Problemsolving skills and Analytical thinking to draw the implications and develop the actionable insights
