Job Description
Responsibilities
- work a full scope of practice as a general surgeon
- participate in call shifts
- provide support to your own site and to others in Western Zone if required which includes daytime coverage and occasional overnight/weekend coverage
- be responsible to the Zone Department Head for Surgery for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice
- operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of Nova Scotia Health Authority

- 1:4 to 1:5 oncall requirement
