Job Description

We are seeking a Process Engineering Specialist to manage supplier selection procurement processes equipment installation debugging and acceptance procedures. The role requires close coordination with facilities suppliers and plant teams to ensure seamless equipment integration and production readiness. The specialist will oversee RFQ processes technical evaluations purchase requisitions and acceptance procedures to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Assignments : 

  • Identify suppliers for bid processes.
  • Prepare and submit RFQ packages to Purchasing.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and prepare recap reports.
  • Write and track purchase requisitions until final PO release.
  • Organize and lead kickoff meetings with selected suppliers.
  • Coordinate with facilities teams for unloading and placement of equipment per layout.
  • Execute PowerOn procedures for all equipment.
  • Assist suppliers in debugging all processes and document findings.
  • Work with plant teams to define acceptance procedures (PSO/PPAP).
  • Ensure suppliers perform acceptance run procedures and document the results.
  • Obtain acceptance letter signoff from the plant team.
  • Ensure complete installation of all required stations and conveyor sections as per layout.
  • Submit weekly reports for each program.

Deliverables : 
 

  • RFQ packages and technical recap reports.
  • PO requisitions and PO releases for each RFQ.
  • Kickoff meeting documentation.
  • PowerOn procedures completed for all stations.
  • Debugging and acceptance processes documented.
  • Acceptance procedures defined and executed.
  • Acceptance letter signoff by plant teams.
  • Weekly reports on project progress.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of process and plant operations.
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes with a focus on powertrain/propulsion.
  • Experience with ICE machining and assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of battery tray machining and assembly processes.
