Job Description

Role Summary:

The Manager Marketing will work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and is responsible for driving the longrange product strategy brand management and key marketing efforts across a portfolio of games based on Universals top franchises. This position will report directly to the Senior Director Marketing & Community.

The ideal candidate has expertise in games marketing entertainment brand marketing/management and digital/physical marketing strategy and . This person will also have experience working with a variety of internal and external teams and managing crossfunctional communication and workflows. Direct experience in the mobile and console/PC game marketing space is highly desired.

Salary range: $85000 $100000 (bonus eligible)


Qualifications :

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the overall product branding positioning and Marketing/PR strategies against a portfolio of games with wideranging genres and platforms.
  • Lead the daytoday marketing ideation planning and on select titles.
  • Partner with Theatrical Brand Franchise and international teams as well as other internal stakeholders to route marketing plans assets copy activations and other materials for feedback and approval.
  • Manage detailed timelines and workstreams while keeping cross functional stakeholders accountable.
  • Work with product and comms partners to clearly define marketing needs during game development.
  • Coordinate with internal partners including Consumer Products Retail Marketing Parks Digital Distribution and more to maximize marketing impact and reach with crosspromotional opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships and identify and execute marketing activations with digital gaming storefronts and distribution platforms.
  • Prepare marketing presentations creative briefs and campaign recaps as needed.
  • Collaborate on social media channel setup management and platform partner relationships.
  • Keep up with industry trends and leverage innovative marketing tactics to drive successful campaigns.
  • Interact with select Games Publishing and Development partners on all of the above.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 35 years of marketing experience within video games entertainment or digital
  • Experience in all major areas of games marketing including online and offline brand management and product marketing search CRM social media and PR.
  • Strong expertise/understanding of games and games industry.
  • Solid project management skills to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously across internal functional groups and external partners/licensees.
  • Existing relationships with Games publishers a plus.
  • Keynote and Microsoft Office Suite experience are required.

    Additional Job Requirements:

    • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
