Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Registered Nurse MDS Coordinator. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Bethel AK 99559
Assignment Start Date: 3/25/2025
Assignment Shift Information: days night
Facility Salary: $106121.60 to $137958.08
The Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator RN provides and plans the daily nursing activities and care as prescribed by the physician and following accepted standards of nurse practice and regulations. Promote a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents living in the longterm care facility.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year working in geriatric nursing including experience with medication administration delivery systems and pharmacies.
- Prior experience with the MDS data tool in a longterm care environment is preferred.
Education:
- Must have an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- In addition the applicant must be licensed and in good standing in Alaska as a Registered Nurse.
- CPR certification.
- Must obtain MDS certification within 90 days of start.
Equipment/Tools: Office equipment (i.e. computer telephone fax machine copy machine).
Vaccinations: ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID VACCINATIONS.
