Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Yale and August supply chain planning.
  • Represent supply chain planning as a member of Yale and August business unit leadership team.
  • Work globally and crossfunctionally to design implement and improve the Sales & Operations Planning process for Yale and August.  Partner with regional (Americas EMEAA Asia) Yale and August  S&OP leaders to drive global standardization of the process and provide coaching and support.
  • Provide direction and leadership in managing demand and supply of products between regions.  Define new processes as needed to ensure efficient global planning that addresses the needs of this growing business.
  • Provide support in managing jobs/events/promotions and product lifecycle changes including new product launches and endoflife product deletions focusing on global/interregional brand and market decisions. 
  • Drive bestinclass service performance globally through crossfunctional collaboration with supply chain distribution sourcing manufacturing quality customer service sales and marketing teams in the Americas EMEAA and Asia.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders in the business unit.  Seek input from stakeholders regarding the needs of the business and identify & implement action plans to address them.  Actions may include partnering with team members in Supply Chain Process Advancement Supply Chain Advanced Analytics and Supply Chain Planning and other functional areas in operations the business unit and IT.
  • Provide guidance to planning teams during implementation of processes to support new supply lanes or new locations that arise due to the continued geographic expansion of the business in partnership with the Supply Chain Process Advancement team. 
  • Provide formal and informal updates on key supply chain initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Create and execute effective change management plans.

 


Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelor Degree Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related fields of study.

  • Experience: 5 to 10 years in all general areas of Supply Chain Management with at least 5 years in Manufacturing Industries. Min 35 years in an equivalent position.

  • Technical Skills: High level of knowledge in Oracle/SAP/R3. Advanced knowledge of import and export IMMEX direct and indirect purchasing.

  • Business Acumen: Understanding of overall business processes and their dependencies including Customer Service Production Controlling Finance Material Management and Production Planning. 

  • Language Skills: Fluency in local language; advanced English skills required.
