Job Description
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Buda Texas
Department: Production
Reports To: Production Manager
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detailoriented Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role you will assist in operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of custom merchandise. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined eager to learn and looking for a longterm career in a handson manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up operating and monitoring production machines to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting to keep machines running smoothly.
- Load and unload materials into machines ensuring proper alignment and operation.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Follow production schedules and report any delays or machine issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety guidelines.
- Assist in adjusting machine settings for different production runs.
- Work closely with senior machine operators and supervisors to improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications in manufacturing or related fields are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with machinery.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
