Job Description:
Job Empire is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our team in England UK. As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining various types of machinery used in our production process.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate various types of machinery including but not limited to: lathes mills grinders and drills
Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make any necessary adjustments
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
Read and interpret blueprints diagrams and other technical documents
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient production
Meet production targets and deadlines
Keep detailed records of production and maintenance activities
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Machine Operator
Knowledge of various types of machinery and their operation
Ability to read and interpret technical documents
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime if necessary
