mission is to support communities as they transition from crisis to recovery
rehabilitation and sustainable living.
As the Development Manager at OlamAid you will play a key leadership role in
shaping and executing the organisations growth strategy. You will be responsible for
overseeing the development and expansion of strategic partnerships securing diverse
funding streams and elevating OlamAids visibility across various platforms. This role
requires a dynamic strategic thinker with proven management experience in
fundraising communications and partnershipbuilding ideally within the humanitarian
or nonprofit sectors.

Position Type: Parttime / Fulltime
Contract Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension)
Team Leadership:
Provide strategic leadership to the Development team aligning their efforts with
OlamAids overall mission and objectives. Foster a highperformance culture and
support professional development for team members through mentorship and
goalsetting.
Strategic Fundraising:
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising
strategy focusing on diversifying funding sources from private donors
foundations governmental bodies and corporate partners. Identify and capitalize
on new opportunities for longterm financial growth ensuring the sustainability of
OlamAids mission and activities. Foster highlevel relationships with major donors
philanthropic partners and key stakeholders to strengthen longterm support.
Strategic partnerships:
Build and nurture strategic partnerships with public institutions foundations and
corporate entities to enhance OlamAids impact. Ensure OlamAids accountability
to donors in terms of reporting and external communications. Provide oversight of
the annual report and ensure compliance with donor agreements. Lead on
reporting to public donors and other key stakeholders.
Organizational Visibility and Media Leadership:
Oversee the strategic direction of OlamAids external communications to enhance
its visibility across digital platforms and media outlets. Lead campaigns that
resonate with donors partners and the general public. Ensure brand consistency
and oversee media strategies that support OlamAids growth mission and impact.
Experience in a leadership role within fundraising communications or business
development ideally in the nonprofit or humanitarian sectors.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing multifaceted fundraising and
communications strategies at a high level.
Experience managing relationships with highprofile donors government bodies
and corporate partners.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide complex initiatives from concept to
completion.
Excellent communication skills in both German (C1 level written and spoken) and
English.
A proven track record of managing teams and achieving organizational goals
through strategic leadership.

work.
