Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Generalist II Human Resources Operations
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Industry
Duration: 1 year
Location: Waterloo IA 50703
Shift: 1st Shift (7 AM 3:30 PM) with minimal overtime

Description:

Human Resources Generalist II Human Resources Operations

Major Purpose
Performs a variety of activities that are typically less routine within the Human Resources area to support the major processes. This is a grounded professional focusing on information and facts responding to requests for information rather than on resolving issues.

Major Duties
Deliver analyses of HR data; identify trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues enhancement of employee engagement and/or improvement of business performance.
Contribute to the development and testing of HR data collection forms or questionnaires in a specific area of expertise to ensure the collection of relevant data in line with defined requirements.
Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
Deliver accurate and timely processing of payroll; input and maintain payroll data; check payrolls for accuracy prior to submission; prepare complex manual payments when required; complete financial reconciliations.
Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization delivering highquality professional services with guidance from senior colleagues.
Create a companywide document management system and ensure compliance with it.
Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
Initiate and monitor the administration of onboarding and/or offboarding processes to ensure that all processes are completed accurately efficiently and on time.
Develop knowledge and understanding of the organizations policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.

Work Experience
Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)
Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)

Position Title
Wage Administration Representative

Specific Position Requirements
Major Purpose:
Perform various wage administration processes such as job placement and Work Comp administration. Additionally convert documents to digital storage and aid in the scheduling of required training for wage employees.

Major Duties:
Act as a liaison for the Work Comp process.
Coordinate various manpower job assignments based on contractual guidelines and business requirements to ensure that physically qualified employees are placed appropriately in different wage job assignments.
Assist with the hiring process.
Assist with the job bidding process for production employees.
Scan documents to convert paper files into digital storage.
Aid in the scheduling of required training for wage employees to ensure compliance.

Education:
Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience (University Degree 12 years or equivalent).
Degree in a Human Resources discipline or equivalent experience (University Degree 12 years or equivalent).
Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Additional Information:
Dress Code: Business casual.
