- Market Development:
- Identify and target potential new clients in assigned overseas markets focusing on key industries and sectors.
- Conduct market research to understand local logistics needs competitor landscape and pricing strategies.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand customer base.
- Client Acquisition and Management:
- Build strong relationships with key decisionmakers at prospective clients through proactive outreach networking and sales calls.
- Present customized freight forwarding solutions including air sea and land transportation options to meet client requirements.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to secure new business while ensuring profitability.
- Manage existing client accounts proactively address concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Sales Pipeline Management:
- Generate qualified leads through market research networking and industry events.
- Effectively manage the sales pipeline by tracking opportunities forecasting revenue and prioritizing leads.
- Develop and maintain accurate sales reports and CRM data to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Operational Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal teams like operations customer service and pricing to ensure seamless execution of client shipments.
- Liaise with overseas agents and partners to facilitate smooth cargo movements and address any issues.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to clients.
