Job Description
Key Deliverables:
- Identify new overseas agents
- To call & virtual meeting with overseas office leads
- To work on overseas sales leads on assigned trade.
- Conduct overseas meeting on regular basi
- Personally lead conversion of high value targets on assigned trade
- Steer solutions and pricing levels in the for assigned trade
- Analyze market on assigned trade and share feedback on market levels with Procurement team
- Review Pricing levels on assigned trade and share feedback with Procurement Team who can further take it forward and align with Carriers/Regional Teams.
- Personally develop solution for high value targets on the trade.
- Understanding of business profile of key customers on the trade lane incl. personal contact to such customers.
- Drive business development activities for High Value Targets support RFQs with strategic importance for his/her trade lane
- Farmer for High Value customers on the trade.
Candidates profile:
- Product knowledge on Ocean Air ( Exports & Imports ) & Global Trade Lanes with operational background combined with a strong commercial mindset.
- Worked previously with Forwarders known to carrier community for Trade Lane development.
Skills:
- Product Knowledge in Ocean Freight / Airfreight / Pricing Operations Customer Services & Documentation.
- Knowledge of the Indian Export & Import Trade Trade Lanes / Routes and their Key Drivers Commodities Major Players.
- Process Excellence.
- Good communication and Business Process skills.
Experience & Qualification:
- 12 years of experience in the Freight forwarding Shipping & Logistics Industry
- Experience in developing and executing strategic and tactical plans in a large and dynamic environment.
- Graduate / MBA / Equivalent from a reputed Institute.
