About the Humanities Teacher Position

We are seeking an outstanding Humanities Teacher to join our dedicated and passionate team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a range of Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4 potentially including History Geography Religious Studies and Citizenship.

As a Humanities Teacher you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
  • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident to explore Humanities subjects and develop their critical thinking skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Humanities providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Humanities teaching.

The Ideal Humanities Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in a Humanities subject or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level.
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Humanities subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for Humanities and a commitment to inspiring students.
