We are an management consulting and software company based in Zurich Nuremberg and Porto. As strategic partner of renowned clients in Financial Services and the Public Sector we drive digital transformation and provide solutions that solve industryspecific challenges at the interface of data and processes.
We are looking for a dedicated Software Quality & Requirements Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Porto who will test and optimize our software solutions at the highest level.
Your Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance in Software Delivery: You willParticipate in largescale client projects with a primary responsibility for ensuring software quality through testing (manual and automated).
Requirements Engineering: You will review and analyse user requirements and change requests ensuring an efficient testing process to guarantee quality.
Test Planning and Documentation: You will design detailed test plans scenarios and scripts and organize the documentation of software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g. JIRA).
Defect Tracking: You will capture software defects and report them to the development team to ensure quick resolutions.
Participation in Software Design Reviews: You will participate in software design reviews to ensure functional requirements are complete and of high quality.
Your Qualification:
- Experience in software testing as well as in creating test plans and using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g. JIRA XRay).
- Ability to analyse requirements translate business objectives into test scenarios and ensure high quality throughout all phases of the development process.
- Strong communication skills both in technical and nontechnical contexts with a growthoriented mindset.
- Teamoriented working style with the ability to turn feedback into innovative solutions and adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with knowledge of Portuguese and/or German being an advantage.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java Python) and SQL for database testing is a plus.
