Job Description

As an Associate Attorney you will collaborate with the Owner to manage employment litigation cases from administrative proceedings to trial. You will be responsible for case development legal research drafting discovery depositions and trial work all with a strong focus on protecting employee rights.

Job Overview

Employment type: Fulltime
Shift: 3 PM 11 PM MK Time
Work setup: Remote/Work from Home Macedonia

Your Daily Tasks
  • Handle all aspects of civil litigation including case development pleadings motions depositions discovery document management and trial work.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to build strong cases.
  • Draft Maine Human Rights Commission complaints and court complaints.
  • Prepare and draft legal briefs for summary judgment in employment litigation.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests ensuring thorough and accurate document production.
  • Participate in deposition preparation and execution.
  • Represent clients in trial proceedings and appellate work.

Requirements

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Must have knowledge and experience in United States employment law (Maine or Massachusetts law knowledge is a plus).
  • At least 3 years of experience in employment litigation practice.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal research tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
