Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Project Quality Engineer with experience in Deepwater Wells projects to join our team. This role will serve as the central point of contact for all aspects of project quality delivery ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of excellence. The Project Quality Engineer reports directly to the Project Quality Engineer and is responsible for supporting and actively promoting quality awareness commitment and stewarding quality throughout the Project Engineering disciplines. This position will be assisting the Project with the implementation of quality within the project team. As part of the quality function this person will also have responsibility for the implementation of Client deliverables and plans as well as driving excellence in quality from design engineering equipment manufacture procurement fabrication installation hookup & commissioning handover to operations under the guidance of SHELLs operating systems. This position requires significant stakeholder engagement and management along with travel and routine visits to fabrication facilities. An ability to build relationships and trust is a must for this role.


Key Responsibilities:
Act as the focal point for all aspects of project quality delivery.
Serve as the main contact for supplier delivery against quality plans.
Build and maintain the Master Equipment List.
Develop and manage Service and Manufacturing Quality Plans.
Manage and maintain the Project Quality Plan.
Utilize knowledge in Independent Third Party Inspection & Regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to standards.
Oversee product qualification delivery from the statement of requirements to acceptance testing.

Key Competencies Required:
Bachelor or Associates degree in Engineering or Science preferred plus 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience in Quality Management and Deepwater Engineering/Procurement and equipment.
Experience with contractors related to Deepwater projects.
Proven management and leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; persuasive with a strong business perspective.
Strong teamwork facilitation skills with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of Industry Standards.
Awareness of Company Management Systems (Project Quality Guides & DEPS).
Knowledge of typical Engineering Surveillance / Assurance program and activities.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

  •        Proven experience in project quality management.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles and practices.
  • Knowledgeable in Independent Third Party Inspection and Regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  •        10 years of proven Quality Engineering experience in multibillion dollar Deepwater Engineering Projects
