About the role
As an Inbound Business Development Manager at The Amazon Guru you will be responsible for managing inbound leads from various sources including LinkedIn HubSpot Calendly and direct referrals from the founders. Your primary focus will be on converting these leads into successful partnerships through effective brand onboarding collaboration and followups. You will analyze market trends and sales data to identify growth opportunities manage supplier relationships and work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Management: Engage with inbound leads promptly and effectively ensuring a smooth transition from inquiry to partnership.
Creating Success: Transform leads into successful brand partnerships through tailored onboarding experiences and personalized communication.
Brand Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new brands ensuring all necessary setups are completed and they are integrated into the Amazon marketplace efficiently.
Collaboration: Assign brands to the appropriate marketing heads facilitating collaboration to meet brand goals and expectations.
Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth enabling informed decisionmaking.
Supplier Relationship Management: Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the company secures the best possible value for sales.
FollowUp: Maintain regular followups with brands to track progress address any concerns and ensure satisfaction throughout the onboarding process.
Strategy Development: Develop strategies to expand the seller base and identify new product offerings by analyzing market trends and brand needs.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align efforts and enhance overall business performance through knowledge sharing and collective initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
  1. 3 5 years of experience in business development account management or customer success preferably Amazon.
  2. Proven track record of engaging with inbound leads and successfully converting them into partnerships.
  3. Experience in managing the onboarding process for new brands and ensuring their successful integration into a marketplace.
  4. Demonstrated experience in conducting market research and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective relationship building with brands and stakeholders.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  7. Proficiency in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to ensure optimal value.
  8. Experience with CRM and project management tools like Hubspot Salesforce Asana etc
