The Backend Framework and Dev Tools team is responsible for providing worldclass tooling capabilities and experiences that empower and inspires our employees partners and customers to build and tailor business applications providing business value in a fast and agile way. As a Product Specialist you are expected to:
- Engage with requirement owners and other stakeholders to interpret and analyze business requirements for the development team to create fitforpurpose enterprisegrade software that delivers business value ensures usability and maintains solution consistency.
- Leverage your functional industry knowhow to design and maintain business solutions in IFS products.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the product quality and take proactive action to prevent issues from arising and resolve them quickly and effectively when they still do occur.
- Working on the Definition of Done (DoD) and Definition of Ready (DoR) with the team and ensure the software developed meets the acceptance criteria for our users.
- Create documentation presentation and training material.
- Have sufficient level of technical understanding to be able to collaborate with technical team comprising of Software Engineers Quality Assurance Engineers and Software Architect.
- Empathize with the Business Processes Automation authors to identify challenges in their IFS Workflows.
- Evangelize our Products and showcase how customers would benefit from what we deliver.
- Collaborate closely with users guiding them through product usage and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with users guiding them in using the IFS Workflow tool by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Actively engage with the IFS community to foster collaboration and knowledgesharing.
Qualifications :
- A university degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or equivalent professional qualifications.
- 3 years of industry experience in software development.
- Strong communication documentation and presentation skills with the ability to apply expertise and technology to achieve work objectives.
- Proficient in functional design and documentation.
- Handson experience with design principles.
- Useroriented mindset and ability to think from the users perspective.
- Strong quality assurance skills.
- A great team player able to collaborate with global team members.
- Experience working with frameworks and a frameworkdriven mindset.
- A passion for learning new areas improving processes and finding smarter ways to work.
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Ideally experience with relational databases and Oracle (PL/SQL).
- Previous leadership experience or a background as a Business Analyst will be advantageous.
