Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all rigging activities at construction and industrial sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations lifting procedures and industry standards.
- Plan and supervise heavy lifting operations including cranes hoists and rigging equipment.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper load calculations for safe lifting.
- Coordinate with site engineers safety officers and crane operators for efficient operations.
- Train and mentor rigging crews on best practices and safety protocols.
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Develop and enforce sitespecific rigging and lifting plans.
- Troubleshoot riggingrelated issues and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare reports on rigging activities incidents and equipment maintenance.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 510 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations preferably in the oil & gas construction or heavy industries.
- Certification in Rigging & Lifting (CIC LEEA or equivalent).
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of rigging lifting plans and heavy equipment operations.
- Proficiency in load calculations and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with OSHA LEEA API and other industry safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
