Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive painting with expertise in surface preparation paint application and finishing techniques. This role requires attention to detail the ability to work independently and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting including sanding cleaning and masking.
- Mix and apply paint coatings and finishes according to colour codes and specifications.
- Inspect painted surfaces to ensure highquality and defectfree results.
- Maintain and clean spray guns compressors and other painting equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations when handling chemicals and using spray equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automotive painting techniques.
- Provide expert advice on colour matching and finishing methods.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Vehicle Painter in an automotive workshop or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paints coatings and refinishing techniques.
- Proficiency in mixing and applying paints to meet industry standards.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to paint handling and spray application.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- A valid driver s license is preferred.
- IELTS/PTE Completion: Required. If IELTS is not completed or delayed PTE must be completed.
