About the Role

Based in BYDs Sydney office in Macquarie Park this role will support our Logistics Planning & Systems team.The position on offer is for a Senior Vehicle PlanningSpecialist position and your daytoday duties will include but not be limited to:

    • Manage and update vehicle orders ensuring accurate quantities and status across all systems and documentation.
    • Develop and deliver agile vehicle supply plans through allocation and replenishment ensuring seamless operations from the Distribution Centre to dealerships.
    • Collaborate with logistics and systems specialists to continuously improve planning inventory systems and business processes.
    • Partner with logistics specialists to manage and optimize shipment schedules.
    • Manage inventory analysis and reporting driving ongoing improvements in the planning system.
    • Coordinate the new vehicle launch order plan working with product teams dealers and marketing to forecast initial orders for new model launches.
    • Collaborate with HQ and local product teams to ensure the vehicle roadmap is regularly updated.
    • Work with HQ to ensure timely product setup in the system ensuring accurate product details and pricing are updated promptly.
    • Align with logistics specialists to ensure alignment between ordering production and shipping.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders driving optimal service and aligning action plans to meet inventory demands.
    • Regularly engage with dealers gather feedback and implement improvements as necessary.

Key requirements:

    • Ideally 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning within the automotive or FMCG sectors with a proven track record of achievement in planning.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex data and using statistical models to enhance forecasting accuracy.
    • Experience working crossfunctionally and adapting to diverse cultural and logistical environments.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data and insights to various stakeholders.
    • Strong problemsolving capabilities including root cause analysis.
    • A Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Supply Chain or a related field.
    • A proactive positive cando attitude.
    • Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
