Job Description
- Execute painting tasks efficiently and with great attention to details.
- Carry out preventive maintenance throughout the hotel to ensure Hotel standards are exceeded for overall guest comfort.
- Assist the Chief and Assistant Chief Engineer in the day to day operation of
the maintenance requirements of the hotel. - Assist in the keeping up to date records on the repair and maintenance of
plant and equipment. - On completion of daily rounds sign off any relevant section of the
Maintenance Manuals. - Prioritise and carry out maintenance as requested by Departments on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running the hotel.
- Prepare surfaces for painting including patching sanding priming in guest
rooms and BOH. - Report back to relevant department Manager Manager on Duty or Front
Office the completion or delay of any task that is guest related. - Follow established safety rules WH&S regulations and maintains a safe and
clean environment. - Be available to carry out emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours as required.
Qualifications :
- 12 Years experience in similar role and hotel experience.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Always displays a professional appearance representing our Sofitel brand.
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends nights and public holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
