Job Description
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in Visakhapatnam India. As a Bartender you will be responsible for creating and serving a wide range of beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fastpaced environment.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages including cocktails wines beers and soft drinks
- Create signature cocktails and recommend drink options to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels restocking supplies as needed
- Verify customers age and practice responsible alcohol service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service operations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Assist in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons
Qualifications :
- Prior experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferably in an upscale establishment
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes mixology techniques and current beverage trends
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- Food safety certification (equivalent to Food Handlers Card in India)
- Bartending certification (equivalent to MAST Permit in India) preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment
- Detailoriented with a focus on cleanliness and presentation
Additional Information :
- Responsible for daily administration meeting and greeting dealing with guests queries and complaints and booking rooms. visitors
- Maintain high standards of customer services at the Reception desk so that customers expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Motivate and develop Reception team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.
- Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach should be brought to the attention of the Management.
