Job Description
Our client is a tech startup from China and its regional office in Singapore is hiring remote engineers and technicians to support their projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Write detailed test cases based on requirements and design documents and perform manual and automated testing.
- Responsible for writing and maintaining automated scripts to ensure their stability and reusability.
- Work closely with the development team to drive defect resolution and conduct regression testing.
- Regularly perform performance stress and security testing to ensure application performance and system stability.
- Analyze test results identify issues and provide detailed test reports and improvement suggestions.
- Participate in product requirements and technical design reviews to ensure testability and quality assurance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methods and drive the adoption of new testing tools and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or higher preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of testing development experience with at least 1 year of experience in automated testing framework development.
- Proficient in common automation testing tools (e.g. Selenium Appium Jest JUnit etc.) and capable of independently building and optimizing testing frameworks.
- Familiar with common programming languages such as Python Java JavaScript etc. and able to write highquality automated test scripts.
- Experience with performance testing and familiar with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter etc.).
- Knowledge of common CI/CD processes and the ability to integrate automated testing with the development
- teams continuous integration pipeline.
- Familiar with version control tools (e.g. Git) and defect management tools (e.g. Jira Bugzilla etc.).
- Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills good communication skills and a team player.
- Experience with API testing database testing and web/mobile application testing is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes and containerized environments with experience in testing within containers.
- Knowledge and experience in security testing and penetration testing.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) testing is a plus.
