We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Executive Chef of German nationality to lead and oversee the culinary operations across multiple hotel properties in Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international cuisine exceptional leadership abilities and a passion for delivering worldclass dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modernize and upgrade / change la Carte menus every 6 months.
- Upgrade / change buffet menus every 6 months.
- Standard recipes and operational SOPs pertaining to food quality and kitchen hygiene available on soft & hard copies handy at all times & hanged in every kitchen in a visible location/board.
- Accurate kitchen work process and hygiene with aligned executive chefs in their assigned kitchens.
- Ensure that each hotel executive chef consistently maintains discipline in their kitchen following hotels guidelines and local legislation.
- Personally identify and develop hotel executive chefs for future cluster executive chef positions in Steigenberger.
- Recruit and select chefs who are able to work within profit centers management philosophy.
- Assist each hotel executive chef with the selection of their respective staff.
- Train and develop each hotel executive chef so that they are able to operate independently and creatively within their own profit center.
- Ensure that each hotel executive chef in conjunction with the L&D manager and departmental trainers plans and implements effective training programs for their respective staff.
- Conduct F&B meetings with the F&B directors.
- Respond to changes in the hotel when needed departmental function as dictated by the industry company or hotel.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals and work on enhancing the employees engagements.
- Plan ON and OFF the job training for the team as per needs.
