Who are we looking for
An innovative and motivated Head Chef with a focus on food safety and excellent customer service. To be successful youll need:
- Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate within 5yrs of validity
- First Aid and CPR Certificate (preferred however not essential)
- Construction Industry White Card
- Previous experience in masscatering environments is essential (volume cooking)
- Previous FIFO Sous Chef or Head Chef experience is highly desired but not essential
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP
- Prior Sous or Head Chef experience is essential
- Australian Citizenship or full working rights in Australia
- You will be required to obtain a National Police Check should you not have one dated within the last 3 months
About the role;
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide leadership coordinate and support staff in maintaining a highquality catering services for our FIFO client sites
- You will achieve success by consulting with stakeholders on a regular basis while driving a high level of performance within your Team
- Lead the catering function with safety at the forefront by adhering to HACCP and operational safety procedures creating a strong safety culture within your team is fundamental to your success
