Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detailoriented Forensic Inventory Accountant to assist in investigating inventory discrepancies analyzing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in forensic accounting auditing or inventory management who thrive in problemsolving and investigative work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct forensic analysis of inventory records to identify discrepancies fraud or errors.
- Reconcile inventory accounts and validate stock movements against financial reports.
- Collaborate with auditors legal teams and management to resolve financial inconsistencies.
- Develop and implement internal controls to prevent future inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- CPA CFE or CIA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in forensic accounting inventory reconciliation or auditing.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive financial data with discretion.
