Key Responsibilities for the Senior Unreal Gameplay Engineer
- Collaborate with designers artists and other engineers to develop and implement gameplay mechanics using Unreal Engine.
- Lead the creation of efficient scalable and highperformance game systems.
- Contribute to the architectural design and technical planning of game features.
- Enhance and maintain the core gameplay systems and ensure they are robust and errorfree.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Optimize performance across multiple platforms to ensure smooth gameplay experiences.
- Stay informed about new engine updates and features and apply them to ongoing projects.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- 5 years of experience with Unreal Engine development primarily using C.
- Strong proficiency in developing gameplay mechanics and systems.
- Thorough understanding of 3D math linear algebra and data structures relevant to game development.
- Handson experience with performance optimization techniques and debugging tools.
- Experience with AI animation and physics systems within Unreal Engine is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
