Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for accurately managing and controlling inventory levels ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records track inventory movements and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
2. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels identify discrepancies and take corrective action to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
3. Warehouse Organization: Ensure the warehouse is organized clean and safe and that all inventory is properly stored and labeled.
4. Shipping and Receiving: Verify shipments against purchase orders receive and inspect incoming inventory and process returns and damages.
5. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on inventory levels turnover and other key metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
7. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
2. Experience: 12 years of experience in inventory management warehouse operations or a related field.
3. Skills: Proficient in inventory management software Microsoft Office and Google Suite; excellent communication organizational and analytical skills.
