Job Description
Our team is currently on a look out for a handson Delivery Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone who can both manage a Scrum team in the daytoday work as well as take ownership of strategic and more longterm projects. Youll be responsible for collaboration with crossfunctional teams serving a diverse range of stakeholders and driving operational excellence to maximize our businesss performance and customer satisfaction.
As a Delivery Manager its important to understand the important balance of the amount of governance needed related to each market without implementing blockers as well as being very handson and not being afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. A good understanding of what is needed to operate efficiently in both .com and locally regulated markets is essential.
The initial focus will be to efficiently manage and run the Scrum team. You will be working in a fastpaced environment which requires the balance of good planning and at the same time managing business crucial adhoc requests from markets that need urgent attention without causing disruption in the daytoday operation and at the same time maintaining the teams focus on the committed planned work.
You will work closely with the Product Owner QA and developers in this area as well as managing any crossfunctional development needed. At Ventures Lab we are dedicated to commitment speed collaboration and high quality in all aspects of the work. We are open to candidates specializing in any of the areas: website sportsbook or casino product.
Tasks
- Managing the daytoday scrum ceremonies and applying Agile methodologies for efficient project management and execution.
- Control project planning such as managing scope timelines resource allocation risk assessment and motivating team members to meet project goals adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among both internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and assure progress on project objectives.
- Actively contributing to establish best practices defined ways of working progress reports templates policies tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the rest of the organisation.
- Prepare estimates and detailed project plans and manage change to the project as and when needed.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and supporting the Product Owner in creating high quality technical user stories for the developers and testers.
- Plan allocate and manage team resources according to priority and business needs and provide estimated delivery timelines to our stakeholders.
- Own and be accountable for project delivery start to end.
- Supervise and guide provider integration initiatives from their initial stages to successful completion.
- Cultivate a cooperative and supportive team atmosphere.
- Continually pinpoint opportunities for enhancing processes and optimising outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience in delivering projects throughout various markets in the iGaming industry.
- Profound comprehension of Agile methodologies and principle
- Experience in navigating and understanding the complexity of both .local and .com markets
- Excellent analytical skills as well as a very structured and solutionoriented way of working.
- Strong communication skills regardless of hierarchy levels both verbal and written.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills needed.
- Very high selfmotivation openmindedness and willingness to perform.
- Excellent experience in Agile SDLC Methodologies
- Possession of certifications like PMP Scrum Master or equivalent is a valuable asset.
- Understanding of OKRs and KPIs
- Understand interdependencies between technology operations and business needs.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in an ambiguous environment through problemsolving and demonstrating teamwork innovation and excellence.
- Technical background would be a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools such as JIRA Confluence.
- Capable of working both independently but also collaboratively lead crossfunctional teams in a hybrid / remote set up across different time zones.
