Your playing field:
- Lead interim and yearend audits ensuring all files are prepared and acting as the goto for financerelated queries like a captain guiding the team.
- Collaborate with department heads and external partners offering guidance on financial processes and ensuring everyone understands the impact of financial outcomes.
- Manage monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets analyzing them like a game tape to keep the team on track.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately like making sure each pass in the game is executed perfectly.
- Handle VAT returns MGA reporting and betting tax reportskeeping everything in order like postgame paperwork.
- Adjust the Groups Chart of Accounts as the teams needs evolve similar to tweaking the lineup for better performance.
- Create and enhance financial policies and procedures ensuring consistency across the team.
- Manage a team ensuring they are trained and motivated to execute the game plan flawlessly.
- Assist in adhoc projects as may be required to meet the dynamic operation of the company.
Qualifications :
Which skills should you bring to the pitch:
- Experience. 6 years of experience in the field with 3 years in people management A seasoned player with leadership experience on and off the field.
- Education. ACA/ACCA or University Degree qualified.
- Knowledge. Strong knowledge of Excel IFRS and financial systems (Navision preferred) are necessary.
- Management. Experience managing and coordinating multiple workloads processes and projects Like a player juggling multiple plays and roles to keep the team on track.
- Leadership. A natural captain ready to inspire and guide the team.
- Problem Solver. Strong problemsolving and numerical skills Quick on the ball solving issues and making datadriven decisions.
- Analytical. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills Breaking down the game tape and strategizing for optimal performance.
- Stakeholder Management. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
