Job Description
Job Summary
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician you will be responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing commercial heating ventilation and air conditioning systems. You will work with a variety of equipment ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including chillers boilers rooftop units and split systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues and offering solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed including service reports and inventory usage.
- Adhere to company safety policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician (commercial experience preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification is a plus.
- Licenses/Certifications: EPA Certification (required); additional certifications (e.g. NATE) are a bonus.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
