Job Description

Imaging Director

Department: Imaging Services

Location: Clinton MO

Schedule: FullTime 8Hour Shifts Monday Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Work Weekends: No

Salary: $98200 to $117840 (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Imaging Director to lead our clients Imaging Services Department. This role is responsible for overseeing all imaging operations ensuring regulatory compliance and managing imaging personnel. The Imaging Director will play a key role in driving operational efficiency maintaining highquality patient care standards and managing financial performance within the department.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong technical expertise in imaging services a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Operations: Provide supervision and guidance to all imaging technologists while ensuring seamless departmental operations.
  • Quality & Compliance: Oversee imaging programs to ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission FDA MQSA ACR NRC and state guidelines.
  • Equipment & Technology: Maintain imaging records direct the PACS Administrator and oversee the operation maintenance and acquisition of imaging equipment.
  • Financial & Budget Management: Prepare and manage the annual department budget ensuring financial performance and costeffective resource allocation.
  • Staffing & Training: Manage staff scheduling hiring performance evaluations and ongoing professional development to maintain a highperforming team.
  • Physician & Community Collaboration: Serve as a liaison with medical staff community colleges and affiliated training programs to ensure high clinical standards and support educational initiatives.
  • Process Improvement & Strategy: Implement quality assessment and performance improvement programs to enhance imaging service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:
    • Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred.
    • Specialized training in imaging services preferred.
  • Licensure & Certification:
    • ARRT ARDMS or CNMT registry required.
    • BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Experience:
    • 35 years of experience in imaging services leadership preferred.
    • Experience managing imaging operations compliance and budgetary oversight is a plus.
