Job Description
Scope
Support the EMEA Controller in maintaining strong Controllership processes drive simplification identify potential Controllership risks and ensure sites are in compliance with IFRS and local Statutory reporting requirements for the supported countries. Assist regional finance & operating teams to improve/maintain controllership accounting compliance and internal controls.
Tasks and responsibilities
- This position will support growth initiatives and ensure strong Controllership and Compliance practices
- Ensure compliance of accounting
- Drive compliance with local laws & policies
- Ensures local reporting compliance together with the external service provider by preparing/reviewing/filing reports and returns.
- Provide technical accounting/financial reporting advice and support. Consults with Global HQ Controllership / internal audit teams / external audit teams / external service providers / TAX where appropriate
- Work closely with commercial and operations leaders/teams to understand financial/accounting implications of transactions and other matters as required
- Ensure timely & accurate closing
- Ensure business assets & accounting activities have functional integrity & proper controls
- Manage external and Internal Audits & follow up on findings specifically ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the audit process
- Partner with FP&A teams to drive Legal Entity profitability
- Ensure the highest standards of controllership accounting & compliance
Qualifications :
Required education and experience
- Minimum BSc in Finance / Accounting
- ACCA / or equivalent IFRS certification CPA certification for Hungary
- 10 years experience in General Accounting / Tax / Audit
- Corporate audit or public accounting experience (Big4 experience is advantage)
- Fluent in English and Hungarian
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting and financial controlling
- SAP experience
- Advanced Excel user strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation
- Practice in Google applications is an advantage
- Strong communication skills able to develop good working relationships at all levels of the business
- Challenges the status quo proactively seeks opportunities to develop finance processes and procedures
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Experience in matrix organization

Compensation The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is
