Anantara Vacation Club is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Manager Data Science & Analytics to lead a team of analysts and work closely with crossfunctional teams to develop datadriven solutions that address business needs and support organizational goals. This role will be responsible for implementing data strategies overseeing the development of data models and analytical solutions and ensuring that the data infrastructure is robust and scalable to meet future demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of approx. 10 data processors and data analysts in the development of datadriven solutions for our Sales and Marketing operations and to create and improve operational efficiency for our outbound and inbound contact centres and in the direct guest facing tour generation teams.
- Work with crossfunctional teams including Commercial CRM Finance and Accounting and Sales & Marketing to gather requirements and define analytical initiatives that drive business decisions that result in product enhancements and diversification growth in revenue reduction in cost demographical customization on products and offerings etc.
- Develop and maintain data models predictive analytics and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with our inhouse IT & CRM teams and our vendors to build and optimize data platforms ensuring they are scalable automated and meet the organizations evolving needs.
- Oversee data validation transformation and integration processes to ensure accurate highquality data for analytics.
- Ensure effective data governance and compliance with data protection policies (e.g. GDPR PDPA).
- Provide leadership in driving the development and use of business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) to make data accessible to stakeholders across the organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in data management practices and tools to improve data accessibility and usability.
- Support and guide data users across the organization helping them better understand and utilize data for informed decisionmaking.
- Maintain strong communication with senior leadership to align data initiatives with organizational strategy and priorities.
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required:
- Strong proficiency in SQL Python and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
- Experience in building and maintaining data platforms including data lakes data warehouses and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and advanced analytics methods.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives forward.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience with data governance and data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR).
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 5 years of experience in data analytics data science in a high volume outbound contact centre with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
