Our client is a reputable manufacturer of precision components and modules in highmix lowvolume. They are an established supplier for many major global players in the Optical Semicon Diagnostics Medical and Life Science industries. They are looking for a Business Operations Assistant Manager to join the team.
The Assistant Manager Business Operations oversees the business operation functions (nonproduction related) including Finance IT and Corporate Affairs. This role is responsible for process automation project management infrastructure maintenance finance coordination compliance enforcement and staff leadership. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency business application stability and continuous improvements while ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance
- Oversee day to day operations of finance team. Make sure all processes and reporting are timely and accurate.
- Support reporting of costing and profit & loss
- Develop and enforce compliance with SOPs work instructions and ISO standards.
- Train and guide staff to adhere to operational guidelines
2. IT/Digitalization
- Oversee day to day operations of Digitalization team. Make sure IT infrastructure ERP and other software application run without any interruption.
- Facilitate improvements in processes and information availability by utilizing digitalization solutions like Microsoft PowerAutomate PowerBI.
- Guide staff and facilitate learning of the staff to stay up to date with the latest technology
3. Corporate Affairs & Compliance
- Oversee day to day interactions with government and other stakeholders.
- Take an active role in Occupational Safety and Health and ISO compliance
4. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the Business Operations team ensuring motivation performance and discipline.
- Stand in for senior management when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance IT or a related field. MBA qualification is preferred but not a must if with extensive relevant experience.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in finance and IT or a similar role with experience in managing compliance and leading business operations teams.
- Proven track record in process optimization and project management.
- Good understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Strong leadership and decisionmaking skills.
- Experience in business process flow mapping and optimization via automation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems Power BI and other business applications.
- Knowledge of ISO and OSH compliance and documentation.
Remuneration
MYR 6500 to MYR 8500
